MoonDance 2017 – June 10th

Join in the fun at the Old Barn’s annual MoonDance party, coming up on June 10th 2017. Yes, it’s the long weekend, so you can really let your hair down!
There will be live music, featuring the Old Barn’s resident band “the BADLANDS” along with guest artists “Stingybark McDowell & Molly CoddleCream“, the local bands “Do A Flip” and “the Cultivators” plus local duo “EbB“, so you will be entertained non-stop all night, with a variety of musical styles!
Ticket includes entrance, live music and food.
B.Y.O. alcohol and esky. The bonfire and gas heating along with your dancing will ensure you stay warm during the event. Come dressed as your favourite lunatic. There will be a prize for the best fancy dress!

Accommodation
There are many options for accommodation at and near the Old Barn. If you’d like breakfast, buy a ticket for breakfast and join us between 9am and 10:30am for a bacon & eggs BBQ breakfast (tea & coffee included with breakfast).
- B.Y.O. Swag – you can choose to sleep under cover in our old dairy or just sleep under the stars. FREE
- Caravan and Tent sites available, but are limited, so please contact us for details or call Julie on 0413 314749 or Vicki on 0418 841-164. Powered sites $15, un-powered $5
- Luxury Queen Bedroom – sleep in style in the gorgeous B & B room attached to the main farm house adjoining the Old Barn. This room has a queen bed and a king single, private bathroom. Call Vicki on 0418 841-164 for more details or to book. $100 per night
- the Rustic BunkHouse – backpacker-style accommodation available in our rustic shared room. Two sofa beds $10 (BYO linen) & four single beds $5 (BYO linen)
PLUS: the Sedan Hotel (1.91km from the Old Barn) has four double rooms. Contact Sue or Dave directly at the pub on 8565-2252
Clubs:
Make a day of it! Take a drive through the beautiful Barossa Valley or Adelaide Hills and stop for a bite of lunch. Take in the panoramic views coming down Sedan Hill and drop into the Sedan Hotel for a drink and a chat. Say “Hi” to Sue & Dave for us!
The Old Barn is offering a 20% discount for groups of 15 or more adults – tickets are just $28!
Local Community:
If you’re from Sedan, Cambrai, Truro, Swan Reach or Keyneton, we would like to extend our special offer to our local community. Show your ID with your address from any of these local towns and you can come along for just $20.

Hi Elisha,
thanks for your question. As much as we’d like to offer the wider community discounted tickets, we have decided that the towns listed are where we have been supported in the past and wish to repay in kind – we hope you understand.
Another way to get discounted tickets is to purchase 15 tickets… encourage your friends 🙂 It’s going to be a great night.
Remember $35 gets you in, a meal (plus pizza at around 11pm) and non-stop live music til late!

Is moculta local its between truro and keyneton? Do band members and partners need to pay ? If yes how much? How many bnbs are there?

yes we consider Moculta local. Band members don’t pay – it’s a privilege to have them come and perform. Partners of band members can come along for the “local” price. The local price is roughly the cost price to put on the event. Food is included in the ticket price. There is only one BnB room. However the Sedan hotel has a few rooms available too. Either way you’ll need to book. Contact Sue or Dave directly at the pub on 8565-2252. I hope this helps. 🙂
