The Old Barn offers you and your guests a unique experience – from the rustic stables reception area and adjacent hay shed barn, to our friendly and respectful staff. We offer many catering options for all types of social events.
Our rustic venue is located just outside the sleepy country town of Sedan, South Australia – a little over an hours drive from Adelaide and about 25 minutes East of the Barossa Valley.
The reception area was once stables to Clydesdale horses. These days the stables now provide a rustic and interesting reception area with exposed beams, dimmable lighting, a full stage and dance floor. The adjoining area – the hay barn – with lofty chandelier lit ceilings has a bar facility and is suitable for use as an indoor ceremony space or an additional reception area.
We have a large fire pit for bonfires outside of fire-ban season.
