the Old Barn is the dream of owners Peter Jesser and Vicki Rankin. The venue is located just outside the sleepy country town of Sedan, South Australia – a little over an hours drive from Adelaide and about 25 minutes East of the Barossa Valley.
Driving from the Barossa Valley down the scenic winding road of Sedan Hill you’ll discover panoramic views across the far-reaching landscape and the iconic dry-stone walls.
Our first event at the Old Barn was our first annual event: the ‘Moondance’ – held in June 2016. Our first wedding took place on 1st April 2017, with 130 guests, which was an overwhelming success!
We host the MoonDance every June around a full moon – see our calendar for the next event.
We also host our ChaffCutter’s Ball annually, so watch for that in October.
The first Sunday of the month looks like becoming a regular thing – ideal for a lazy country drive to Sedan for an afternoon of country air and a good chance of some live music!
