Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for considering the Old Barn as the venue for your wedding celebration. Our rustic venue is located just outside the sleepy country town of Sedan, South Australia – a little over an hours drive from Adelaide and about 25 minutes East of the Barossa Valley.

The reception area was once stables to Clydesdale horses. These days the stables now provide a rustic and interesting reception area with exposed beams, dimmable lighting, a full stage and dance floor. The adjoining area – the hay barn – with lofty chandelier lit ceilings has a bar facility and is suitable for use as an indoor ceremony space or an additional reception area.

Currently, the venue is capable of seating up to 117 guests, and more for a cocktail style function or where tables and chairs are not required for guests. The Old Barn is nestled along the Graetz Creek, which is dry most of the year, making for a picturesque wedding ceremony location. We offer limited accommodation at the Old Barn which includes a large private B&B room suitable for use by the bride and groom, camping and RV sites and two glamping bell tents.

Additional accommodation may be available at the Sedan Hotel (1.9km from the Old Barn). They have four queen rooms. Further afield, the Barossa Valley offers many types of accommodation.
